Santa Monica, July 21, 1999 - Highways Performance and Gallery space was a mob scene on Wednesday as over 200 guests crowded into the space to get a look at all the male erotic artwork! The show, "bad boys...ROUGH TRADE," curated by artist PHILIP HITCHCOCK, raised nearly $3000 for Highways. Artists in attendance were Don Bachardy, Tom Bianchi, Rick Castro, Durk Dehner of the Tom of Finland Foundation, Wim Griffith, Philip Hitchcock, Eugene Pinkowski, and Deni Ponty. Other attention getters included performances by Barnes, Noel Alumit, and the pulsing vibes of DJ Paul V - as well as the non-stop ...er..."posing" of erotic nude model, Tom. The entire affair was catered by westside chef Jim Smith who provided gourmet hors d'hoeuvres for the salivating crowd!
